Ynes and Ryan’s wedding was featured on Wedding Chicks this morning! Here is a peek- check out the rest here. Also, be sure to visit the Amy Squires and Co. blog to see more remarkable images from this wedding.
Ynes gave me permission to get a little experimental with the flower selection. Some of my favorite flowers were used- anenomes, dahlias, arabicum, ranuncula, and china mums to name a few.
Fresh herbs, such as mint and rosemary were tucked into the arrangements, and the centerpieces were jam packed with fluffy white and green flowers and funky foliage (geranium leaves, myrtle, ming fern, eucalyptus, ruscus, brunia, dusty miller.) The whole reception smelled fresh and herbal. It’s not often that I get to run wild with the greens, and when I do, I just love it!
A stunning bride, and so easy to work with. I truly felt like Ynes trusted me to bring her vision to life.
Ryan wore an anenome and a mini gardenia (from my garden), accented by brunia and fresh mint. Simple and fragrant beyond belief!
Centerpieces were round and lush, but with texture galore. Other tables displayed collections of three vases filled with monobotanical arrangements. Each table had a different selection of flowers.
Special thanks to Courtney Toney from Joyful Weddings and Events, Melody from Sweet and Saucy, and Lane Dittoe of Amy Squires and Co. Each of these vendors added a special layer of beauty to the day. It’s so awesome when vendors are so in sync!
Congratulations to Ynes and Ryan! Cheers to you! Enjoy your first cuddly Christmas as man and wife.
